Ring Terminals

Ring terminals come in a variety of configurations for both insulated ring terminals, and non-insulated ring terminals.  How do I choose the correct ring terminal for my application?  Non-insulated ring terminals are typically the most economical.  Use these when no special characteristics or protection is required.  High temperature ring terminals are non-insulated, and are used in areas where the terminal will be exposed to continous high temperatures.  Vinyl insulated ring terminals are the most economical of the insulated ring terminals.  Nylon ring terminals provide higher temperature and better durability than vinyl.  For the maximum protection and environmental exposure, use heatshrink ring terminals.

Vinyl Insulated Ring Terminals
Vinyl insulated sleeve is securely fastened to the butted seam barrel.  Insulation has a flared entry for easier wire insertion.  Industry standard color-coding indicated wire size range.

Nylon Insulated Ring Terminals
Used where an insulated barrel and positive insulation grip are necessary or desirable.  Allows for excellent mechanical crimp and wire strain relief.

Heat Shrink Ring Terminals
Heat shrink insulated ring terminals are perfect for marine and automotive use.  Heat shrink is adhesive-lined and color-coded to the industry standard wire range.

Non-Insulated Ring Terminals
Manufactured from a tin plated copper.  They are a popular low--cost ring terminal for use when special performance or insulation characteristics are not needed.

High Temperature Ring Terminals
Ideal for use in high temperature applications like motors, engine compartments, and other applications where where regular terminals are exposed to high heat and can melt.
