THHN Wire - Solid Conductor

Solid core THHN wire is mainly used in commercial and industrial wiring applications.  Commonly referred to as building wire, THHN wire, with its anealed copper core, PVC insulation and nylon sheath jacket, is well suited for reliable internal use.  The wire is easily pulled through conduit and rough construction.  THHN wire meets or exceeds all applicable standards of S.A.E. J-C30B, ASTM specifications, UL standard 83, UL standard 1063 (MTW wire), Federal Specification J-C 30B, and requirements of the National Electrical Code for for THHN Wire.  The nylon jacket allows the THHN wire to withstand heat temeratures of 90ºC at 600V, and can be used in applications where a PVC building wire is required.  Because of its versatility, the wire can be used as THHN wire, MTW wire, and THWN Wire.
